JPM - What is Jimmy Rogers shorting?
Jim Rogers has recently said on numerous interviews that he is short a major financial institution in North America, but he won't say what it is. Do you think it could be JPM?

I hope its MS, since I have puts on it. I also think if Rogers was going to short just one major financial in the U.S., it wouldn't be JPM, but a weaker one. I could be wrong though.
I think you're right, ccyork, I thought the same thing when I read his comments
Dave,
He says it is one of the major banks that everyone thinks is very healthy. That pretty much leaves only JPM.
JPM has a huge amount of derivative exposure, so that could be the risk that he's looking at.
Interesting. Any chance it could be GS though?
