SFE - Might not be so safe
I just came across this company while browsing the Shortscreen screener.
Terrible Altman Z score, Chart looks like it may be getting ready for a big move, and here is their business model:
"Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. is a private equity and venture capital firm specializing in expansion financing, growth capital, management buyout, recapitalization, industry consolidation, corporate spinout, and early stage financing transactions. "
I have doubts whether this a good time to be such a company. I also don't like the idea of venture capital company as a publicly traded stock. A former stock I owned, TINY, hasn't done investors so well in this space.
So, this is one stock I will research as a possible short in the coming days.

I didn't know you had the misfortune of owning TINY as well. I could have sold that for ~$30 back in '00 if I weren't an idiot then.
